Remedial Classes

The Lusignan Good Hope Learning Center (LGHLC) is an accredited school by the Ministry of Education in Guyana.

Daily Remedial classes:

These classes are considered “remedial”, the intent is to improve the specific skills in the kids. During the analysis phase of the center it was found that the kids can use additional help in the following classes:

• Math
• English – writing, spelling and reading
• Science
• Basic computer skills

In the summer the classes are all day.  During the school year, there are classes during the day for the “dropouts” and afterschool classes for students.

Schedule: Monday – Saturday 9am – 5pm

Regular Classes

Daily classes for students to enhance their academic skills. These classes are in addition to the class work covered in  school.  Assist the kids by re-iterating what they learn and challenge them to excel beyond. 

• Classes for CXC – College requirement. CXC is very important for the students looking for jobs after graduation. Many companies require applicants for jobs to have a certain number of passing grades on specific subjects.
• Classes for Common Entrance – Grade school requirement to get into high school
